Warehouse and Logistics Coordinator - Mudgee, NSW 2850

About the Role 

The main responsibility of this position will be the coordination and management of deliveries from our suppliers into our site warehouse in Mudgee NSW and / or direct shipments outwards to our many clients. Basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge would be highly advantageous. This would be to assist with any mechanical servicing or repairs required when not engaged in tasks related to your main role.

Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to;

•    Unloading of containers and trucks at our site warehouse. 
•    Staging materials in dedicated staging areas in onsite warehouse.
•    Daily use of warehouse management system software – Phone app log in access to be provided.
•    Pick, load, and ship equipment from warehouses.  
•    Manage the warehouse logistical team, labour and drivers (forklift/trucks). 
•    Manage the OH&S adherence and works with Ventsec OH&S Manager. 
•    Coordinate deliveries from Ventsec suppliers and vendors. 
•    Execute equipment inspections in warehouse upon delivery/request. 
•    Maintain site warehouse and lay down areas on site to standard.  
•    Complete mechanical servicing / repairs on equipment as required. 

 

About You 

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:

Essential:

  • TLILIC0003 licence to operate a forklift truck

  • Intermediate computer skills

  • Willingness to learn and use our warehouse management system software.

  • High attention to detail

  • Written and oral communication skills

  • Excellent teamwork and cooperation

  • Local resident to area.

  • Drivers licence.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role

  • Basic mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge

  • Certificate III in Fabrication

  • Willingness to undertake additional training as required
